Mangroves protect coastal areas from erosion, storm surges and tsunamis as well as act as a nursery and breeding ground for marine life such as algae, shrimps, barnacles, oysters and mud lobsters to name a few. This exceptional and fragile ecosystem- an elaborate lattice of mangrove roots is of immense ecological importance yet remains one of the most threatened habitats in the world because of natural and demographic pressures.

Its absolutely no problem if you’ve never been in a kayak before, kayaking is easy to learn and makes for a great workout too. You can choose to have a kayak all to yourself or take a double seater kayak out so you have a little help paddling along.
