RULES & POLICIES

GOVT. SERVICE TAX :

  • 28% GST (Subject to change as per Govt. Regulations).

PEAK SEASON EXTRAS :

  • Minimum 4 - nights stay between 15 December 2017 - 15 January 2018
  • Compulsory Christmas supplement at Rs.3250 per person inclusive of dinner. Kid price Rs.1500/-
  • Compulsory New Year Supplement at Rs.6500 per person inclusive of dinner. Kids price is Rs.3,000/-

CHILD & INFANT POLICY :

  • Infants and children below the age of 5 years will be complimentary on the adult meal plan without any extra mattress and will be charged for Govt. ferry / Makruzz tickets only. For extra mattress child rates apply.
  • Children between 5 – 11 years will be charged as per the child rates.
  • Children 12 years & above or third adult will be charged as per extra adult rates.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bookings will be held provisionally up to a pre-specified cut-off date after which they will be released unless full payment is received. Bookings confirmed only after 100% payment in advance.

Check in time is 1300 hrs and check-out is 1100 hrs. Early check-in & late check-out subject to availability.

ROOM OCCUPANCY POLICY :

  • Cottages & Villas: Max. 3 adults (or) 2 adults + 2 children. Max. 1 extra mattress.
  • Duplex: Max. 4 adults (or) 4 adults + 2 children. Max. 1 extra mattress.
  • The Duplex Cottage has two rooms and one bathroom and the rate is same for 2 to 4 adults.

FOOD :

  • All meals will be served at the main restaurant.
  • Guests can choose from either fixed price meals or order from our a-la carte menu. Fixed price meals include a choice of starter, main course and desert from a substantial selection within our a-la carte menu. Menu choices include European and Indian cuisine.
  • Meal supplement Rs.1100 per person per meal.

PORT BLAIR AIRPORT - RESORT TRANSFERS - RETURN TRANSFERS - CAR & BOAT :

  • Ferry Departures: Departures commence at 0600 hrs & end at 1400 hrs daily from Port Blair to Havelock and commence at 0930 hrs & end at 1630 hrs from Havelock to Port Blair.
  • Ferry Duration: There are both privately operated and government operated ferries on the sector. Duration of sailing varies from 1.5 hrs to 2.5 hrs in each direction. Our first choice is to book you on a privately operated ferry, however we will book you the most appropriate sailing based on your flight timings and also within parameters of ticket availability.
  • All ferry and boat transfers are subject to weather conditions, sea conditions, sailing permits, Department of Shipping Services schedules and any amendments thereto.
  • All Govt. ferry tickets for Foreign Nationals can only be purchased only on arrival after showing the permit. We therefore cannot guarantee Govt. ferry tickets in advance for foreign nationals.
  • Barefoot Group is not liable for any loss caused due to non availability of tickets / change / cancellation of ferry schedules, even in the event of pre-purchased transfers. In such an event, our liability is limited to the value of the ferry ticket.
  • Kindly read the transfer terms & conditions prior to making your booking confirmation

CANCELLATION POLICY :

  • Confirmed dates/days may be altered, cancelled or cut short only if intimation in writing reaches the company 30 days prior to the check in date.
  • Please note if the cancellation is initiated within 30 days then we would not be able to amend , postpone or cancel the reservation hence there would be a 100% retention of the package value.
  • No refund is applicable for no show.
  • No refund for unused nights or early checkout.
  • No refund for cancellation of booking from 15 December to 15 January. Once confirmation voucher is raised and payment is received.
  • In case the guest has an International bank account, and then any bank charges applicable are to be borne by the customer. We will remit the amount as per our cancellation policy.
  • Prior to confirming all bookings, we request all guests to please go through our “TERMS and CONDITIONS”, “Travel Trip Hazard- Andaman Islands’ and “Helpful tips and Information for guests” at the bottom.
  • No refunds would be offered on ferry tickets already purchased.
  • If transfers are booked through us and in the event of disruption/cancellation of Ferry services to or from Havelock, the following facilities are made available to you:
  • If Port Blair – Havelock ferry service is cancelled: Equivalent hotel in Port Blair in lieu of 1st night at resort.
  • If Havelock - Port Blair ferry service is cancelled: 50% discount on room rate only for your additional requirement at Barefoot at Havelock Resort subject to availability.

*NOTE :

  • In case of any cancellation and if paid by payment gateway beside the applicable cancellation policy a surcharge of 2% will be applicable while making refund.
