You can reach Barefoot Resort via a combination of flight and ferry:
- By Air: Direct flights to Port Blair are available from Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi. Travellers from other Indian cities can connect via these hubs.
- By Sea: From Port Blair, you’ll need to take a ferry to Havelock Island. To comfortably catch the same-day ferry, allow at least 3.5 hours between your flight landing and ferry departure.
2. Can I reach Barefoot at Havelock on the same day?
Yes, you can reach Havelock Island on the same day if your flight and ferry schedules are well coordinated. Allow at least 3.5 hours between your flight arrival in Port Blair and your ferry departure to ensure a smooth connection.
3. Does Barefoot Resort operate its own ferries?
No, Barefoot at Havelock does not operate its own ferries. However, we can assist you with booking ferry transfers as well as any required land transfers to ensure a seamless journey.
4. What is the minimum number of days I should plan for?
We recommend a minimum stay of 4 days at Barefoot at Havelock. This allows you to experience Radhanagar Beach, one of Asia’s most beautiful beaches, and enjoy activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, trekking, birdwatching, and other exciting water adventures.
5. Do we need a passport to travel to the Andaman Islands?
Indian citizens need a valid government-issued photo ID (such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport). Foreign nationals must carry a passport with a valid Indian visa and a minimum validity of six months.

Barefoot at Havelock accepts MasterCard and Visa. Unfortunately, American Express is not accepted.

In loving memory of Rajan, the cherished elephant of Havelock Island, who passed away due to old age on 1st August 2016, we named our restaurant The Swimming Elephant to celebrate his legacy and the happiness he brought to so many.

No, all cottages at Barefoot at Havelock are nestled amidst the rainforest. The beach is only 50 meters from the lobby.

Radhanagar Beach is a public beach located about 50 meters from our lobby and approximately 700 meters from the main beach entrance, offering a serene and secluded experience.
23. Are there any shacks nearby?
A few shacks are located near the main entrance of Radhanagar Beach, approximately 1 km from the resort, and are usually open until 6:30 PM.
24. Is your resort beach-facing?
Barefoot at Havelock is spread across 9 acres of rainforest, and none of the rooms directly face the beach. However, Radhanagar Beach is in proximity to the resort.
25. Do you have a conference hall at Barefoot at Havelock?
No, the resort does not have a formal conference hall. However, if a group books all 31 cottages, we can provide open spaces that can be curated as venues for meetings or conferences.
